(Location-shoot ideas - where and when you will be filming:) – On a train from Norwich to London, in the middle of January.
(Summary of Production:)
(Stylistic Influences and inspiration (include any music videos, scenes from films, TV adverts etc that have influenced you) - The biggest inspiration for the idea is from the Chemical Brothers video for Star Guitar, directed by Michel Gondry - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S43IwBF0uM. As you can see in this video Gondry repeats similar parts over and over again in a loop like fashion which is something that I will try to replicate, in order to get a similar effect. The most obvious similarity is that I shall be filming from a moving train with scenery in the background, this sounds like such a simple idea but it’s difficult to execute well and I feel Gondry has done it superbly, I’d be delighted if I could get anything 1/100th as good as the Gondry video. You also have an element of tricking the audience via repeating stuff, they might not figure it out straight away but eventually they’ll be going ‘Have I seen this before?’.
